Hey, welcome to my weblog! This is in correspondence with my Harry Potter/ Harry:Hermione Shipper Site, Mint Chocolate! Harry Potter updates and so on are posted the second I see them. (Hence why there may sometimes be many posts a day.) Feel Free to look around, Enjoy!
~Vicki
hey guys! If i don't post for awhile please don't be mad, but I have had this idea for a (full-length) h/h story for awhile now.
It's really awesome so far, which is mainly due to the factthat I spent a lot of time thinking about it and how I want to do it and what the plot will be, but you won't see it on the internet for at least another six months. The reason for that being that if I started posting it now I wouldn't think it through, and I wouldn't be able to edit it properly.
I got a really good beta reader (he isn't one of my friends, because I didn't want it to be biased judgement) and when I finish the story (or am like two chapters away from being finished) I will post it on my website, portkey, or fanfiction. I might even put it on the official Harry Potter boards or mugglenet first just to see how well it is recieved.
Anyway, the story takes place sixth year, and will be R or NC17. (it originally was PG or PG13, but after talking over the final plotline with my beta reader, he found something that wasn't accurate, so we had to up the rating. sorry!) Anyway, if it turns out being NC17 any part which gives it that rating will be written by a different (and older) author. Being fourteen, I don't think it would do justice to the story if I wrote it.
So yea, I'm really excited, because a story has never stuck like this one. I think when it is finished it will be really great, and you guys will enjoy it.
ALL FOR NOW! BYE!

~*~EDIT~*~
I have one more thing to add. I spent like two hours last night working on uploading and downloading for "Mint Chocolate" and I'll be working for the next hour.
I have been making h/h wallpapers for the past two or three months now, and it's been really hard to get them up on the web, but i FINALLY figured out a way. So if you go to the "wallpapers" section of "Mint Chocolate" today there are links to almost all of my wallpapers. I hope you guys like them!
Okay, this is a thought that is currently bugging me, so feel free to think about it or reply with your thoughts:
Could Neville be the Half Blood Prince?
(btw: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will be the title of the sixth book, and shame on you for calling urself a Harry Potter fan and not knowing that! lol)
Okay, well I'm not going to defend my question, so do what you may.
TOOTDLES!
~Vicki~
*SORRY*
Okay, now that I've said it, yes, i am very sorry for not being on here lately, for those of you who visit. Anyway, I don't what exactly this was, or was claimed to be, before, but now, it is a place for me to post theories and discussion ideas.
I know it sounds boring, but, in theory (lol jk i know it was bad), this makes sense. Like any major Harry Potter fan, I'll be reading something and then an idea or curiosity will run into my head.
Anyway, since apparently the forum idea isn't working, I figured I could give this a try. You can respond by replying (there's a thing to clikc at the bottom of each post) or posting on the tag board.
Got it? GOOD!
Hey everyone! I know I haven't posted in awhile, but with the third film out and everything there really hasn't been anything new to report lately.
I will not be logging on for the next week because I'm going to camp, just fyi.
Anyway, I'm a little bummed out because I have been making h/h wallpapers, and I submitted them to the website "Crossing the Line Undrawn" and the webmaster said she would put them up on her next update. Well, in her update, she announced that the site will now be officially on hiatus, because she hasn't been able to keep up with the work it takes to keep up a website. (that I can understand. I haven't been able to update my site in almost a month because I just haven't had the time or energy for the effort. I really like the weblogs because they allow me to post without much work.) Anyway I'm just kinda bummed that my wallpapers still aren't on the web on a site that I know gets quite a bit of traffic. She said that everyting thing will be put up eventually, but she doesn't know when that will be.
Yea, that's all I have to report. I may be making a gallery on here or my other weblog for my wallpapers. I don't know.
Okay, well that's afn. BYE!

Prisoner of Azkaban Review!
by Vicki Bergs (LOL: Laughing Out Loud">lol me)
Okay, yes, I know most die-hard fans of Harry Potter have already seen the movie, but for those of you who haven't, I just saw it this afternoon, and here are my thoughts on it. Please note that there are spoilers.
I did feel that the movie rushed through the year, and that it got to the confrontation with Sirius in the shreaking shack very quickly. It felt like the audience always had just enough information to understand, but not enough to really appreciate what was happening (unless of course you have read the book recently and remember it well). Do not confuse this with me saying it wasn't loyal to the book, because it was, but at times it did feel a bit...choppy.
Also, I noticed that the *two* ron/hermione supportive moments, both of which were in the previews, were not only not in the book, but also they seemed to be forced, and unnatural.
The *many* harry/hermione moments were great. They felt perfect for the moment, and were not nearly as obvious. (That doesn't mean you had to be a h/h fan to notice them, though.)
I was slightly distraught when they never actually told the audience who Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs were. If you read the books you either knew or guessed, but if you didn't read them you may not have caught on at all. The firebolt also seemed to be an afterthought as well.
The soundtrack was great, incorperating some favorites from the first two movies with some great new tracks.
Also, there is some comedy in it, which made the audience in my theater laugh often. There is a particular part that's a favorite of mine, where Ron has a specific nightmare,, but I wont go into further detail.
Overall, I would say the movie was unbelievably awesome, even with it's faults. I could hardly stop smiling for the first thirty mintues. (Of course, that also attributed to the fact i could get over how HOT everyone was, particularily Daniel Radcliffe.) It did feel like Cuaron focused more on things that weren't even in the book, but it still turned out very well. I only would have liked it to be slightly more...um, fluent.
But yes, my final rating is....
UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME!
Hope you liked my review, feel free to reply (option below) if you disagree with something. I don't pretent to be an expert!

(lol i love that)
NEWS!(Edited)
Friday, at 3:00pm central time on FOX, the cast of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban will be on "On-Air with Ryan Seacrest", you know, the host of American Idol (for those of you in America).
Anyway, just a tidbit of information for those of you who like to see things like that on television.
Okay, well that's all for now!
~Vicki
P.S. from now on I will be using this font to report news!
Yes! Only two more days to go till "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" comes to theaters!
Okay, well I wasn't able to go on the computer yesterday and post (sorry), but I did get to watch Dan on Live with Regis and Kelly. I'll keep and eye out for links to watch it on the internet, but so far I haven't found any. Unfortunately, I missed Gary Oldman on The Today Show, so I'm trying to find some online videos of that.
I am so excited! I'm probably going to see the movie either this weekend or early next week, and as soon as I do I will post a full review of the movie for you guys.
Well, I do believe that's all....... OH! I finished what there is of the Paradigm of Uncertainty Series. I am so excited and I hope Lori posts a new chapter soon. (Her chapters are like 60 pages a peice at least, so I can understand how they take awhile to write.) Anyway, if anyone has read it and likes the forum idea (see the monday, may 24 post) they can either post on the tag board or reply to this post.
Anyway, that IS all for now!
Oh, and dementorscloset.net is back up for those of you who had trouble.
BYE!

Hey!!!!
Okay, well there really isn't a GOOD reason for this message other than the thing that I don't want to go to bed so I was like, "Hey, I can post on my web journal!" So yea, that's what I'm doing!!!!
I really hope you all liked those movie clips!
...Um...well since I can't think of anything else I think I'm gonna go!
Vicki
P.S. FOR MY FRIENDS AT SCHOOL: I may be getting one of those digital cameras soon so I can make movie clips and stuff and put them on here, and I may also get my dad to re-hook up the scanner so I can put pics on and I'll either try and put them on here or another site!
lol, wow can you tell that I'm hyper?
Good news for H/H fans!!!!
Okay, so you know how there's a part in the movie where Hermione grabs Ron's hand and they look away awkwardly?
Well..... if you go here, you'll find that Hermione grabs Ron's hand because Buckbeak snaps at Harry and she is afraid for him!
Okay, well aside from that, there are lots of new clips from the movie on the internet, all very good. If you would like to see them click the links below:
Also, go to www.dementorscloset.net for awesome sneak peaks and a great clip of Dan on Conan!
~Vicki
Okay, I'm in Library Aide now. Me and my friend Dedi, who's a flutist
, basically work in the library at our school and help out the librarian, hence the name.
Anyway, I am extremely sad because this has come to be my favorite class, and we are both really going to miss it, and this is our last time being in here!!!!
Okay, well, as for HP info, there is some cool stuff on mugglenet where Dan talks on BBc radio, and you can reas the transcript, which i am reading as I type right now.
Well, i'm gonna go. *tears*
Vicki
P.S. THE PARADIGM OF UNCERTAINTY SERIES IS AWESOME!
